I still cannot believe how fast this year is flying by already. I feel like it was yesterday I was counting down for the new year..
The good thing is that I feel that I am slowly progressing to something bigger. A bigger chapter in my life. I have started to accomplish many of my goals I have set for myself for ’09. I’m trying to be active and walk more. Trying to lose some of that Freshman fat that comes to every new freshman in college…while also trying to push through what was before. I want to be more lean which is a big goal for myself because I’ve been big for a long time. It’s not going to happen right away but I want to try and make it happen.
And I’m adding a new goal for 2009. I’m going to write a new composition. Since I’m kind of isolated from music right now I’m gonna try and make due with what I have. and that is a keyboard and a laptop. I went back tonight to listen to my old comps. The ones I messed with and I did for fun, and the ones I did for enjoyment. I don’t really care what I do as long as I do it. I miss music so much and the realization of that really came down hard on my conscience this weekend. I want to do summer theater, I want to join a stringband..I want to be immursed in music again. But I have to put off those dreams for another year ish because of a summer job that may be coming… which is going to be great and productive and rake in a lot of money…it’s what I need to do and will do…but it’s not what I’d like to do.
Hopefully the timeline I have planned for the next few years will pull through for me and be great and just what I need.
